Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (CAVA)

The Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement Level 3 RQF is geared towards those who would like to assess both occupational competence in the work environment and vocational knowledge, skills and understanding in a classroom, workshop and other training settings.

This is a transferable certification to any division that you have occupational competence in and provides a National standard for best practice in assessing.

Throughout this course you will develop your knowledge in Assessment, Principles and Practices of Assessment, Assessment Methods and the importance of Quality Assurance in assessment processes.

You will develop an understanding on how to adhere to both legal and good practice requirements while completing your assessment plus preparing and implement assessments of vocational knowledge, skills and understanding.

Furthermore, you will understand how to provide required information following the assessment of vocational knowledge, skills and understanding while observing good practice and legal requirements.

This programme is fully assessed via tutor marked assignments. Upon completion of each module the learner will be required to complete a series of tasks, requiring essay style answers, which are sent to the tutor for marking.
