OCN South East is proud of its history of supporting education and training providers for over 30 years and is approved by Ofqual, QAA and SIA. We promote widening participation, social inclusion, employer engagement and lifetime learning for all.

OCN South East is an awarding organisation with a difference – working nationally and internationally, we can trace our history back over 30 years to the unique concept of building accreditation structures from the sector, for the sector. Our organisation was created as a direct result of working with and listening to education and training providers wanting more than was available at the time.

Skills and Education Group is improving the lives of individuals by championing education and skills-oriented organisations, providers and learners. It provides high quality support and services to the educational sector through the following organisations:

• Skills and Education Group Awards (an awarding organisation regulated by CCEA, Ofqual and Qualifications Wales).
• Skills and Education Group Access (an Access Validating Agency)
• BIIAB (an awarding and end-point assessment organisation).

Accredited Skills for Industry (ASFI) was originally set up by Walsall College in 2013. Since then, it has helped training organisations to identify skills gaps across industry sectors and creates accredited progremmes that meet the aspirations of both the individual and the sector.

Founded on the idea of empowering people to succeed in a digital world, IU International University of Applied Sciences first came into existence in 1998. And since receiving accreditation from the German Council of Science and Humanities, IU’s grown into Germany’s biggest university. IU is the first German university to achieve a 5-star rating and 99 out of 100 points on QS Quacquarelli Symonds, the world’s most popular source for comparative data on universities. We topped the ranks in programme structure, technology, graduate employability, and student faculty engagement.

IU is recognised by WES Canada and U.S., a trusted non-profit providing verified education credential assessments (ECA) for foreign degrees and certificates. This means that our graduates can work or study in Canada and the U.S. as the IU degree can be converted into points according to Canadian academic standards in the Canadian Immigration Point System and American Immigration assessment scheme.

Coelrind designs and develops learning and assessment software for sectors including education, healthcare and the government. Our core product is XAMS, one of the UK’s largest e-assessment platforms, but we also offer extensive consultancy and training services.
