The Access to Higher Education Diploma (Medicine) is a Level 3 qualification regulated by the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA) and awarded by Open College Network South East England (Laser Learning Awards).
It is nationally recognised by UK universities as an alternative to A Levels for entry into Medicine, Dentistry, Biomedical Science, and other healthcare-related degrees.

- You will shadow real cases, learn from NHS scenarios, and gain insights that strengthen your UCAS personal statement and interview preparation.
- Successful completion earns a Certificate of Virtual Work Experience.

Entry Requirements
- Minimum age 17 by 31 December in the year of enrolment
- GCSE or IGCSE English, Maths, and Science (Grade A–C / 9–4)
- International students: IELTS 5.0 or equivalent
- Evidence of motivation for Medicine and healthcare professions
Assessment
- Assessment includes:
- Written assignments and reports
- Examinations (minimum 3 summative exams)
- Laboratory or virtual practical tasks
- Essays and research projects
- Presentations and reflective logs
- All assessments are internally verified and externally moderated by Laser Learning Awards under QAA regulations.

- Course Fee: £960 (Online Learning). Extra fees for blended learning.
