About Progression Courses
The Progression courses help you get the qualifications that you need to progress your career and education. They are particularly useful if you wish to brush up or gain skills after being out of education for some time, or in preparation for studying a Diploma at Level 3. e.g. Science is very useful if it's in your Diploma, but you have not studied any Science previously.
Qualifications:
- Level 2 Award in Progression (9 credits)
- Level 2 Certificate in Progression (24 credits)
- Level 3 Diploma in Progression (45 credits)
- Level 3 Award in Progression (12 credits)
- Level 3 Certificate in Progression (30 credits)
Entry Requirements
There are no set entry requirements for Progression Awards.
Assessment
You are assessed through tutor-assessed coursework throughout your Progression courses. Our assessments are regularly checked to make sure they are consistent, fair and robust. Importantly, they give everybody the same opportunities to succeed. Our internal verification process is rigorous and thorough, ensuring that every tutor is marking and giving formative and developmental feedback in line with the standards set by the awarding body.
